The wonderful thing about starting an online business is you can do it with very little capitol and without any experience of ever doing anything like this before.
Having said that, as in the real world there is no guarantee that you will make millions straight off the bat. In fact there is no guarantee that you will make millions at all! It will take time and maybe even a few failed attempts until you hit on the right system and start making any kind of money.
It also depends on your attitude, your dedication, your commitment and your belief. If you are the kind of person who gives up at the first hurdle or is easily discouraged when things don’t go as you expected at the first time of asking then starting an online business is not for you.
But if you are the kind of person who approaches new ventures with a positive mantle attitude, an open mind and a belief that you will succeed then read on…
What I want to do over the next few posts is show you exactly what you need to do in order to start an online business. I will show you my tried and tested methods that actually work, so you can copy as little or as much as you need in order to start making money from your own online business.
My aim is to lay everything out in front of you in a simple to understand step by step guide. Because its posted on my blog you can take it at your own pace, you can work through the steps as I post them or you can take your time and move along at your leisure.
I am going to make this as simple to understand as possible…
No complicated diagrams, no big words that you will need to look up in your dictionary, no charts, insiders lingo or abbreviations. Just plain easy to understand English.
Before you start making any money online the first thing you need to do is understand the basics of how it is done…
I will go into more detail later but what I want to do here is walk you through the three important details you need in place before you can even start making money from this whole internet business thing…
Part 1
You need to find a service or product that will produce high returns on every penny you invest…
Without this in place you will not make a success of things.
You will not get rich by clearing 10%, 20% or even 30% profit margins. At least not unless you can afford to invest thousands up front, which I’m assuming you can’t.
It is for this reason that most people who run a traditional business very rarely make any great amount of money and usually spend their whole lives working long hours for little returns.
Look at most small business owners and you will see they usually end up working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day for twenty odd years only to find at the end of all this they are only slightly better off than the guy doing 9-5 in the local office block.
Is that really a great way to live?
Of course this is only if you are lucky…
Most people who start their own regular business usually don’t make it past the first two years. As I am writing this a report by the small business association says that 30% of businesses fail within the first two years and that goes up to 50% in the first five years.
Can you imagine that? five years investing your time, money and emotions into a business only to end up worse off than you were at the start! It would have been better to just do nothing.
It’s true, If they would have put their money into a high interest savings account and waited five years they would have been far better off than investing in a business.
I can tell you from personal experience that it really is a hard pill to swallow.
SO…
If you want to make some serious money and you want to make it working less hours than you are already working then you need something that will produce VERY HIGH PROFIT MARGINS.
You need something that will produce 100% – 1000% profits. And I’m here to show you how to do this.
As I will explain in the coming weeks, If I buy something for £50 and sell it for £500, £1000 or more it doesn’t take too much effort or many sales to make a very decent monthly wage.
Part 2
The second thing you need to do is find a way to produce these high profits with little or no overheads i.e. working on your own from home…
You don’t need a fancy office, a secretary or any other staff working for you. You just need the freedom to earn knowing that the money you make is going to work for you and your business.
If you have wages to pay, an office to maintain or rents due at the end of the month, You are not going to make great sums of money.
This is one of the reasons most small businesses fail. It’s because they invest all that money into these things long before they need them or can afford them.
To support this fact a recent report by Income opportunities magazine states that between 75% – 80% of HOME BASED BUSINESSES succeed past the first five years.
Its for this reason why I advise starting an online business on your own, from home with as little initial outlay as possible.
Part 3
Finally you need to ensure your money works as smart as possible…
By this I mean you need to try and ensure that whatever products and services you invest in gives you as big a return as possible or at the very least breaks even.
The trick here is to know this before you invest any of your money.
This is KEY to your success!
I have got to the point now where I can pretty much guarantee I will make a profit before I have even launched any of my new products.
The way to do this will become much clearer to you as I progress through this guide. So don’t worry at this point if you have no idea how to do this. Also remember it is not a race so take your time.
The longer you spend getting to grips with the basics of how this business works the more likely you will be to make a success of things later down the line.
Remember as with anything you learn, you need to MASTER THE BASICS FIRST.
What is so great about running an online business?
You DON’T need to create any products yourself (unless you want to).
You DON’T need to stock any products.
You DON’T need to sell face to face.
You DON’T need any extra premises or expensive equipment.
And best of all you can start from your own home, by yourself using equipment that you most likely own already.
The business I’m talking about is pretty straight forward.
This is what I do…
Firstly, I locate quality ready made digital products or develop my own products.
High quality professionally produced digital products, that tend to contain specialist information in the form of training videos, eBooks or audio training. You can target a specific market or ‘niche’ with this type of product.
These products can usually be sold worldwide and can retail between $29 and $2000 a set.
The beauty of starting an online business like this is that once set up and put out there on the internet the product is marketed with very little input from you.
Secondly, I decide on the product I want to market and pay a small fee for the rights to market the product.
I will go into more detail on how this is done in later posts.
Lastly, I market and sell the product online to a target audience who I know will be interested in this type of product.
Sounds like hard work right?
Wrong!
Once set up, this business runs on virtual auto pilot with very little input from you.
The products to sell are not freely available and cannot be picked up from anywhere on the internet…
These are professionally produced products containing valuable information written and produced by some of the leading authorities in their own particular field.
These are not the kind of products you can give away for free as a promotion or sell for $5.
These products are high quality productions that need a licence agreement to market and can sell for typical profits of between $25 and $100 per sale.
Marketed the right way these products can bring you in thousands of pounds a month.
If done right its an incredibly easy way to make money online.
